A check-up doesn't have to be stressful. Mostly it comes down to one thing: being able to show proper documentation of when your employees have worked — and you have that, as long as the hours are registered in TwoWork.
You don't need to dig everything out in advance. The easiest approach is to let the authority decide what they want to see:
You'll get an Excel file with a summary sheet and day-by-day entries for each employee — ready to show or send on. See Exporting hours for payroll for the details.
Arbejdstilsynet looks at the working environment — including working time and rest. Here it's especially relevant that you can document:
Danish law requires you, as the employer, to be able to document your employees' working time. That's exactly what ongoing time registration in TwoWork gives you — the same export as above, just seen from a working-environment angle.
SIRI checks that an employee on a residence and work permit gets the conditions the permit requires — among other things the right number of hours, correct pay, and the supplements that go with it. Even small mistakes can have consequences for the employee's permit.
TwoWork documents the working time — when and how much was worked. The pay and supplement calculations sit on top of those hours. If you need to work out weekend, overtime, or public-holiday supplements from the exported time registration, an AI tool can help: see Using ChatGPT for payroll calculations.
Important: TwoWork gives you a solid data foundation for working time — but you don't automatically comply with every rule just by using the system. Pay rates, supplements, holiday, and collective agreements are still your own responsibility. If in doubt, check with your advisor or trade organisation.
Also remember to keep the data for employees who have left, so the history can be produced later. See An employee has left.
