Don't worry - it happens to everyone, and TwoWork has your back. If a registration keeps running too long, the system steps in automatically so your timesheet doesn't end up with a 24-hour shift on it.
If a registration runs for more than 13 hours, TwoWork will stop it for you at midnight and set the workday to a standard 7 hours. So if you start at 08:00 and forget to stop when you go home, your day will show as 08:00–15:00 (7 hours) the next morning.
There's a good reason for the 13-hour mark: in most EU countries, working time rules say you should have at least 11 hours of rest between two workdays - which leaves up to 13 hours for work.
The average working day in Denmark is 7.4 hours, so we've deliberately set the auto-stop to 7 - just below the average. If you forget to stop your time registration, it's important to go to Hours and adjust it so your registration is correct. You are the one with access to and responsibility for your own time registration.
When you open the Hours page, you'll see an orange banner at the top:
The affected day will also have an orange "Check hours" label next to it, so you can find it quickly. Once you fix the registration, both the banner and the label disappear.
Open the Hours page, find the day with the orange label, and adjust the start and end time so they match when you actually worked. The change is saved straight away.
If you know you'll be working more than 13 hours, just remember to stop and start a new registration before midnight. That way your time stays accurate without TwoWork stepping in.
